Today is May 1, 2022, Sunday, International Workers' Day.
International Workers' Day, also known as "May Day" or "International Workers' Day," is a national holiday in more than 80 countries around the world. It is a holiday shared by laborers worldwide. In July 1889, the Second International led by Engels held a congress in Paris. The resolution was passed at the meeting, stipulating that on May 1, 1890, international workers would hold demonstrations, and May 1 was designated as International Workers' Day.
It is actually May 2 now. Yesterday, P and A went to enjoy outdoor barbecue, so this summary is also completed over two days. Even though it's a holiday, I still have a lot of work to do. Projects like engineering graphics, Rubik's Cube robots, and other courses are still in progress, so I have to say, "Labor is the most glorious."
Last time, I mentioned that the early sessions of the Python elective course were a bit boring. Now that it's almost over, I realize it was really boring. Many courses in college use very advanced technology—like audio PPTs, but students' gains in these classes are actually quite limited. However, with my understanding of Python and self-study, completing this course should not be a problem. Also, the GitHub Repo for web scraping is steadily being updated.
As for the mid-term test in quantum mechanics I mentioned last time, the grade was as expected, but the deduction points were unexpected (missed a small question). Overall, the questions were very simple, and I believe the final exam won't be too difficult for students. So, I can't escape the credits for quantum mechanics, but truly learning quantum mechanics will be a long and arduous journey. The other three major courses, basic materials science, basic crystallography, and solid-state physics, I find very obscure, and with concepts overlapping, achieving good grades will require a lot of effort.
April did pass quickly. The upcoming days before the holiday will be filled with either busy or leisurely study life, so let's cherish them. 😶🌫️
