It is now September 14th, and after several months of delay, it seems that I have successfully changed the date for writing summaries from the beginning of each month to the middle of each month. However, I didn't intend to change it because the so-called "monthly summary" is meant to summarize the events of each month. Writing it in the middle of the month means that each of the two months will only be half covered, making it difficult to write. Unfortunately, the August summary is already late, so I can only start adjusting the timing back slowly from next month.
Back to the main topic, I spent most of August at home, returning to school on the 25th with no classes. Therefore, the entire month of August was in a vacation state, just eating, drinking, playing, and sleeping. I also spent a few days with my classmates from middle and high school, which was quite enjoyable. This summer was, as usual, very hot, but I didn't swim much; I remember only two or three times. Speaking of which, I haven't been to the school's swimming pool even once, but I plan to go once in September. I also started a new reading project—the "Foundation" series by Asimov, and my Japanese studies are progressing very slowly, as slow as the school's notifications. Additionally, I continue to serve as a teaching assistant; this semester it's computational materials science, and the course is publicly available online, which feels more challenging than last semester's TA position, presenting a challenge for myself.
Aside from leisure, I was also troubled by my internship report for many days in August, but fortunately, I completed it before the semester started. After returning to school on the 25th, I learned that Xia Bo Xia Bo hot pot was offering a 50% discount, so I ate there for several days and now feel like I don't want to eat it for the entire month of September. My roommate, lmh, has decided to go abroad and moved out after staying in the dorm for just a few days; he must have graduated. The remaining three of us continue to eat, drink, play, and sleep, and I often go to the neighboring dorm to play games, maintaining a good neighborly relationship.
What also troubles me is my longing for Bao; I don't know when I will see Bao again qwq... Here, I also want to congratulate Bao for passing the CET-4.
As graduation approaches, I inevitably have to think about the future, topics like my job, the beginnings and endings of friendships, etc. Perhaps I still don't have answers in my heart, but I can manage to be somewhat less anxious. Because I have some close friends I can contact at any time, I have Bao with me, and with a strong inner self, I am no longer alone.
