It is now the evening of May 14, and I've delayed writing this summary until mid-month. Although there is a reason for this (working on my graduation project), I still feel that postponing the summary is somewhat disgraceful. Without further ado, let's get to the point.
At the beginning of April, at my suggestion, I helped my friend get a new phone (Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro) and new headphones (Redmi Buds 5 Pro). It felt great to be able to help. In the midst of the intense thesis writing, I inserted a week of public service practice classes. The so-called public service work actually involved weeding, changing water in fish tanks, trimming branches, etc. The workload was not even enough for a week, so during those days, I mostly completed all the work in the morning at double speed, and then in the afternoon, I could hang out with my friends in the DH Garden (a nice spot) to play games. It was a tiring yet enjoyable week.
After that, it was back to the usual work in the research group, going out early and returning late, with no changes. Just as I was about to fall into boredom, I took advantage of a weekend (April 26 and 27) to relax with my friends at the Xian Ning Country Garden. Thanks to Hubei Culture and Tourism for the complimentary tickets to the Xian Ning Country Garden hot springs, which allowed me to experience various hot springs for free. The most memorable was the hot spring with small fish (although this one was paid), where the fish therapy was a very novel and stimulating experience—something that can only be felt, not described. On the day in Xian Ning, my friend had a fever, and I was very worried, talking on the phone for a long time. After about two or three days, my friend recovered, and they were doing great.
After returning to school from Xian Ning Country Garden, the daily routine of working in the research group resumed. Even during the May Day holiday, I was writing my thesis with little entertainment, and up until today, the thesis is almost complete. However, it can be expected that the entire month of May will continue in a work state, even more monotonous than April. I hope to pass the graduation defense at the end of the month, and then in June, there will only be some miscellaneous tasks related to graduation.
