After saying goodbye to Double Eleven, we welcome Double Twelve. As always, if Double Eleven is a gimmick, then Double Twelve is an even bigger gimmick. However, I did manage to buy some reasonably priced items on PDD recently (photo printer, photo album, snacks, etc.), so the above statement can be taken as a joke for now.
Back in November, I truly felt the arrival of winter this month and realized that certain measures are needed to keep warm during winter. I prepared blankets, fluffy slippers, windbreakers, thermal underwear, etc., which enhanced my ability to resist the cold. In fact, it wasn't that it wasn't cold before; I just thought that a little cold was acceptable, and there were more pressing matters than managing warmth. Now I understand that living well is a significant matter.
On another important matter—food—I have basically tried all the signature dishes from the newly opened third floor of Canteen B. I didn't hit any landmines; surprisingly, they were all quite good, although the prices were slightly higher than those in other canteens. One could say you get what you pay for. I also ate several times at Y Mama's rice noodle shop that I discovered last month, and I found two new snail noodle shops and a Quanzhou rice noodle soup place, which I also visited a few times. The flavors are unforgettable, and I always want to go back. If I previously shortchanged myself in terms of clothing, I can say that I have been diligent about food, eating well and filling up, striving to reach a new high in weight.
On the work front, I had to report at the group meeting on December 1. Although the initial preparation made my boss feel that I was cramming at the last minute and was not very happy, the final result was still somewhat satisfactory (note: refers to something that can still uplift people's spirits; generally describes something that can still make people satisfied, with a positive connotation). This challenge can be considered successfully passed. After that, the preparation for the annual meeting also fell on my shoulders, and with several final exams for various courses, I have been working continuously for three to four weeks. I really need a good rest.
As for other matters like holiday plans and year-end summaries, I will summarize them next month.
