July 2025 Summary

Note: The text in this format is written by another author.

It is now August 14, 2025, Thursday, but for me, it is not a working day. This summary is different from most of the previous ones, firstly because of the different writing location (this time it was completed in H City), and secondly because the author is not just me. To understand how I reached this point, we need to start from early July.

Specifically, the time was from July 10 to 13, when the school gradually filled with the restless atmosphere of the upcoming summer vacation, and I was more or less influenced by this atmosphere, eagerly anticipating the arrival of summer vacation (this group atmosphere reminded me of the cognitive space in p5r). However, these days were not spent in torment because Bao contacted me.

Although we are in a long-distance relationship, we still maintain the habit of meeting once every month or two, which keeps our relationship from becoming distant due to the distance.

Those days happened to coincide with the weekend, and I took a day off, enjoying three days of rest. This time not only allowed me to make rapid progress in my studies and procrastination skills during the extended holiday, but also made our reunion more enjoyable.

It was the height of summer in W City, and the heat was unbearable. We spent the whole day at a water park. We made ample preparations in advance, such as bringing swimming goggles, water shoes, and band-aids, which proved to be very successful and necessary, as this was our first time going to a water park together, making us "max-level players in the newbie village," and the experience was fantastic.

In the following days, I returned to my daily work. I could clearly feel the number of people on campus gradually decreasing, and the cafeteria during the vacation became a headache, but fortunately, this wouldn't last too long.

Finally, August arrived, and both Bao and I entered our vacation. We flew from W City to C City, then to my hometown L City, first meeting with family, and then gathering with my closest friend QY.

We tried some new things, and under the encouragement (or rather, coaxing) of Puppy, Bao tried hot dry noodles again. Well, under the condition of less sauce and more soup, I found that I could actually accept it, haha. We also went to see "The King's Avatar 2." Meeting his relatives in L City made me feel a bit anxious, but we managed to meet smoothly. I thought I could meet everyone in one day, but it took three days to finish, which was a bit torturous, but thankfully Puppy was there to comfort me. I also met his good friend, and we went to eat pork rice cakes, tofu pudding, white meat, and local specialty hot pot, which was simply delicious. All these tasty dishes made me want to come back for more!

We didn't stay at home for long; on August 6, we set off for C City, where we saw giant pandas, experienced the bustling city streets, and visited the ancient yet advanced Dujiangyan, and I bought a beautiful dress for Bao.

Then we officially started our travel journey in C City, seeing all kinds of cute giant pandas and eating flower-flavored ice cream. After that, we went to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. I had heard that there were many handsome guys here, but I didn't see many that day, and I didn't see the ground covered in fallen leaves, completely breaking my stereotype. The food in Chengdu, such as dan dan noodles, wontons, and skewers, was surprisingly delicious! I will definitely come back for more! On the day we visited the world cultural heritage site Dujiangyan, I wore a pretty little dress. The weather wasn't great, drizzling continuously, but it was quite cool, probably thanks to that. Due to an exam, we took a high-speed train all day, traveling from morning until evening to H City. We were so impressive, like iron blocks, feeling like we could try "youth has no price, hard seats directly to Lhasa."

Like the traveling frog, we didn't stay too long in each city. On August 10, we left C City and arrived in H City, which took a whole day. Coming here was not just for fun; more importantly, Bao had an exam to attend, so the itinerary was somewhat impromptu, and the planned trip to Z City was canceled as a result.

As I often say, life is full of uncertainties, and every little episode during the trip brings different experiences. Yesterday (August 13), we had delicious Dai cuisine with an old friend CR from H City. The food was very good, and I accidentally ate a bit too much, ultimately sleeping soundly until the next day to write this summary.

Dudu, we had delicious Dai food yesterday. Although I rarely see such a large setup, it quickly increased to forty or fifty tables in just a few seconds. Fortunately, we queued online in advance and got to eat quickly (so clever)! Since the food was so to my liking, one puppy directly ate a full bowl of rice and only realized later that he had overeaten.

In a few days, I will return to work mode. August is already halfway through, and the process of switching from vacation mode back to work mode is undoubtedly tough, but I also look forward to a new beginning.
